Fosters

277 Holland Avenue
Holland Village
Singapore 278994

Fosters has been a staple of Singapore’s food scene since 1960 and its popularity shows no sign of waning. Although they market themselves as a steakhouse (and a really good one at that), they somewhat sell themselves short because the menu is teeming with delicious delights!

Located in Holland Village, a haven for ex-pats and Singapore’s young, hip crowd, Fosters is a warm, relaxing place to eat, drink and catch up with friends.

As you’d imagine, steaks in all their various, juicy, delicious guises – Wagyu ribeye, fillet, fillet mignon, a beautiful US Black Angus ribeye and their signature Fillet Fantastique – make up a good proportion of the menu but there’s loads more!

There’s a great choice of fish and seafood, pasta, omelettes, sharing plates and sandwiches as well as English comfort food classics including cottage pie, sausage ‘n’ mash, grilled lamb and steak and mushroom pie, all cooked to perfection and served elegantly. Don’t forget to save room for pancakes, apple pie or their crepe of the day.

Fosters has a genuinely rustic charm with a cosy atmosphere that’s perfect for a lazy Sunday and for an added treat, they do a really good Devonshire Cream Tea for the remarkably low price of S$11.50 and you can enjoy freshly-baked scones served with butter, home-made strawberry preserve and cream, fruit cake, finger sandwiches as well as the obligatory tea and coffee.

If you’re looking for real comfort food and a reminder of home, beautifully-cooked steaks, a warm, inviting ambiance and a permanent member of Singapore’s amazing food scene, Fosters is your place!
