Dairy Farm Nature Park

100 Dairy Farm Road
Singapore 679057

It’s not a farm anymore and the area no longer has an association with the production of dairy products but it used to back in the 70s and the 63-hectare park kept its name.

There are lots or different trails for cycling including the Western Adventure Loop, a 12-km route starting at Choa Chu Kang Park and finishing up at Bukit Batok Nature Park where you can see the famous orchid garden.

The main attraction in the park is the Wallace Education Centre and the Wallace Environmental Learning Lab (WELL). The Wallace Trail (all named for Alfred Wallace who conceived the theory of evolution alongside Darwin) is an hour’s walk and attracts strollers, bird watchers and nature lovers and offers incredible photo-ops of butterflies, moths, macaques, birds, fruit trees and rare dragonflies perched on the greenery.

At the south-western end of the park is the famous Singapore Quarry which has been transformed into a wetland habitat with sensational views which are worth the trip alone and there’s a viewing platform where the wetland’s cliffs overlook a peaceful lake.
